Moving home can be a high stress life event, especially after many years in one place. We understand that moving later on in life is often as a result of sudden changes in circumstance, health or the passing away of a loved one. Our goal is to make transitions easier so that the focus can be on a positive future.

Who we help
We work with clients who are downsizing from a larger home or property to a smaller home. Clients who use this service are looking to downsize for a variety of reasons including convenience, reducing burdensome home maintenance and to reduce cost of living.

We work with clients who are taking responsibility for their futures in moving into retirement villages. Clients who use this service are looking to start their next chapter in a home that better suits their needs, and to be able to access all of the amenities and social events retirement villages offer.
Many of our clients put off making this transition because the logistics of preparing for and coordinating a move seem emotionally and physically taxing. We help to alleviate the stress so that the client's focus can be on a fulfilling future in their new home.
We work with clients who are moving into aged care or assisted living facilities. These moves can vary greatly based on our clients' needs. In some instances we may be appointed by an Enduring Power of Attorney or Enduring Guardian.
Respect is at the heart of what we do for clients using this service. We have experience in dealing with people who have age-related health needs and disabilities.
Quiet, methodical work. We sort, donate, or recycle to remove belongings from a home. We will handle the sorting, organising and disposing of items which may include furniture, appliances and personal belongings. We do what we can to minimise waste and support local communities with items that can be donated or recycled.
We can liaise with solicitors or executors directly to lift the emotional weight off the family.

We are the hands on the ground - we seek to understand the needs of the client, we then plan the space, guide decisions on what to donate, sell and of course what to take to their new space.
We coordinate the move from sorting, packing and then to unpacking and settling.

Our clients who appoint us for this service wish to stay in their home but need things to be organised or changed around to fit their needs.
Adjustments to living areas can make a big difference to confidence and independence.
Navigating a new community, connecting with local services, and building confidence in day-to-day life.
We assist in setting our clients up to be registered with their new local GP, linking up with service providers or even getting set up with local social clubs.

How it works
We start by understanding you. What your needs are, what you value, and what your best future in your new space could be.
Then we write you a quote with a draft plan - what we’ll do, when, and what it will involve for the family.
We alleviate the sense of overwhelm that can come from a move later in life. We do the work so that our client or their family don’t have to.
We offer short term personal assistance to get our clients fully settled into their new community if this is what they need.
